Quality is perfect. Movie is fantastic, although I wouldn't recommend kids watching this at all, it's an extremely gritty, hard hitting film about the underworld in South London. Reminds me a bit of "Nil by mouth".

I'm guessing, pk-r, that you've had audio sync issues? My DVD player plays xvids and divxs but this encoding of the film seems to have VBR issues (this is the first time I've come across it when burning an xvid movie). Being to lazy to correct such things, I downloaded the KVCD version instead (which should play on most stand-alone players), and although the quality loss is noticeable when compared to the xvid version, the truly gritty, hard-hitting nature of this particular film means that a small drop in TV picture quality hardly detracts from the viewing experience. I hope this stops a few people creating coasters out of their CD/DVDs! (PS this sync issue only applies to the HAGGIS encoding).

...oh, and if you're planning to watch this on your PC, please don't worry: the audio sync is absolutely fine when viewed this way (at least it is when played on on VLC, my prerferred media player). My previous comment (posted above) only referred to burning this particular HAGGIS version to CD/DVD for playback on stand-alone media/DVD players.

yes ladytrouser first time ive had this problem fine on the pc,but when put to dvd the sound is way out i will try the kvcd one thanks.
