Thanks aXXo. ssaugaboy23 I've found the easiest way possible is to buy a dvd player that plays divx (cheap as chips at the moment) and just create a date disc of your avi movies and the divx machine plays it. Great quality and I can fit about 13 episodes of heroes or about 6 movies on a dvd.

This was the first torrent that I was disappointed with from axxo. The sound was about 3 seconds ahead of the picture through most of the movie and every so often the movie would speed up, catch up with the sound but then it would get thrown off sync again.

hya im pretty new to downloading avi files and want to ask is it normal for avi files to take about 5 HOURS from the start of the encoding to finish (takes about 20 mins to actually burn to disc) im using DVD Santa at the moment. can anyone offer any advice if im doing it wrong or any other programme that may be quicker. Axxo d/l are well worth the wait coz they are fantastic quality/sound, but my patience is wearing a bit thin now cheers peeps

5 hours to encode to dvd? wow,thos days are long gone for me,try downloading cucusoft video converter from here thats pretty quick,if that dont speed it up you might want to look at upgrading your pc(wich is more likely to be the case).I use cucusoft to encode to dvd and it only takes me 15 to 20 minutes max to encode avi to dvd,as for the 20 minutes to burn to dvd,that's dependent on disc speed,burner speed etc,try using a faster disc.
