Hopes of the fifth grade student Jesse Aaron to become the fastest runner in the class broke up after the rookie Leslie Burke won the competition. Reasons for hostility towards each other at Jess and Leslie are more than enough, and yet between them appears a friendship. How can you not make friends when you have to be the king and queen of the forest discovered magic kingdom? The film captures from the very first minute: at first it seems as if this is another film about the hardships of teen-loser, but still interesting to watch. However, soon this guy acquitted with a girlfriend, which is also not particularly respected in the school environment. Tired of the constant ridicule of their peers, they decide to create their own fantastical world of ogres and elves, where there are none of the notorious classmates. Watching all this there is a desire to create something similar with your own friend. After living in a fictional world - a kind of escape from life's problems that you take out every day. But back to the film. The ending is touching to the soul and makes us think about the justice of fate. I think that this ending is pretty brutal, and certainly children will be crying while watching…
