It isn't the funniest movie by Ferrel, but the movie itself is still (in my opinion) the best movie done by him, because it is not a pure comedy, however, many people aren't going to like the movie simply because they will not be used to the idea of Will Ferral in a movie thats not purely comedic.

I have seen this movie and I am not a huge fan of Will's work for the most part, a little too much fart humor for my tastes...I agree with bigfish on this one though...it is a well rounded movie with a taste of eveything tied together with an excellent ensemble cast. Thanks aXXo

demon days- if you know how to get REAL aXXo's, you will never get a fake. only dl movies directly from aXXo. neogery- i think you need a new computer, but try downloading VLC media player and using it. if not, maybe think about a new torrent client, there's a few options out there (i use utorrent on the advice of a friend with a computer science degree- never had any probs)

weedsnob- GREAT username, first of all. there are three files in most aXXo torrents- the movie itself, and nfo file, and a text file from aXXo asking you not to dl his torrents from the site mentioned (sort of) in the file. apparently that site used his name without permission and aXXo wasnt' real happy about it, and I figure if aXXo keeps releasing movies of reliable quality the least we can do is not dl them from a site that he doesn't want us to use. i actually dled a couple from there before all of this happened- sorry axxo! try just burning the avi file, i think that will work

Catatonicloki and neelhtak you both should just switch to ConvertXToDVD, i used nero and for me it su*ked big time plus the burn was waaay to long, for ConvertXToDVD 2hrs max for most movies unless you ad another movie to it(2 movies on 1 disc), here website. http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ good luck

Doublelong or Kerplunk .... I'll keep this simple. I burn my dl'ds. using DivX Player cos my tv player is compatible plus I can get 5 burned movies on 1 DVD. I use VLC to watch my dl'ds. on my puter cos I love VLC for my puter. Now ... When I convert a dl'd. so that my sisters kids can watch animated movies on THEIR home DVD tv player,(which means 1 movie per DVD cos of the format they need) I don't get the whole movie. During the burn ... it stops @ 99% thereby cutting off the end. Continued in next post ... :-)

Doublelong or Kerplunk .... cont'd. I know it's during the burn cos I watch my dl'ds. on my computer lots of times with VLC and it's all there. Also, my tv player is DivX compatible so I convert all my dl'ds. to DivX using the DivX Converter cos I can get so many movies on 1 DVD. This suggests to me that it's either in the burn process OR in the "convert to the other format so the movie works on older tv DVD Players" that the problem occurs. Can u help. Explain like I'm an idiot cos, well, yeah. :-) Thank you. This was a two parter cos of the length as i'm sure you already know.

SoDaSeeD ... I also discovered my new laptop (2 mo.) came with a prog. called InterVideo WinDVD Creator2!! It's exactly what I needed! Duh here. :-) It converted format AND burned it in 1 1/2 hours. The other program I used took FOREVER!! I tried it in my older TV DVD player and it was awesome!

Yup, SoDaSeeD ... I looked it up too and ur right, mixed reviews. They do say tho, that it's good for the novice which I certainly am. As far as burning Divx - DVD, I did it @ the 2 hour quality (which I've learned since is the lower end quality) and it was crystal clear in my older player and sound was A+. It was exceptionally fast @ converting/burning too. (1 1/2 hours max.) I do wish VSO was still available for me to dl'd. cos I know from ppl like u that it's best. Maybe in a few weeks I'll pay for the VSO program. Thank you for ur help/input.

yup, did it! I did the same as you until I figured it all out but my little brain hurt by the time I had it right. hahahaha It's all good now tho. I really like the program. I put my fuzzy dog Emily as the "menu" picture and I added Nelly Furtado's "Say It Right" as the menu music plus titled it "Lazy Dog Productions". Oh I do love "playing" with this stuff.

i've actually never burned what i would consider a "satisfactory" DVD, although i've read lots about it. i use this cheesy program that came with my laptop- the picture is always way too grainy for my taste. i tried that VSO, but i think i may have gotten confused and dled the wrong thing. i'm gonna get the torrent (an exact torrent name would be great), and maybe i can solve my probs. if it weren't for s-video, i probably would have figured it out by now...

kerplunk - that's ok, I actually thought you were kidding me re: my getting fingers slapped. Glad you like that program. It really is great. Using VSO I burned at the recommended quality which is "medium". It only takes a bit longer at the High Quality level anyway but even at medium the quality is awesome. As far as my problem, I'm certainly just going to lay low and NOT download for the forseeable future!! I'm too scared right now. Period. I can help answer questions for others tho.

I agree SeeD: it certainly can't hurt and even if it only works a little bit, it's better than nothing at all. I'm still looking around but I too am using something right now. I'm not dl'ding at all because I'm still "gun-shy" as it were, but I plan on cma (covering my a**) first and then when I get braver someday again, I'll check out the axxo's again. :-) Bye the way, I got burned two movies onto a disk and it fit using VSO. The quality was again, crystal clear so I'm very happy. I go between the two programs I have, VSO and the one that came with my new computer. (InterVideo WinDVD Creator2) It does things VSO doesn't and VSO does things InterVideo doesn't so I have the best of both worlds I feel.

SeeD: yup, those kids are pretty happy! I noticed VSO set at recommended "medium" quality can fit two movies on one disk. InterVideo set at 2 hours doesn't compact it quit as small (visually going by the disk space used"bar" anyway. I've never tried to burn two movies onto one disk with InterVideo because of that. The good part is, with InterVideo not compressing it as much as VSO does, the quality from InterVideo is always clear and sharp like the original must be. Quality is always wonderful using VSO too but I do believe it's just slightly better with InterVideo but I'm sure it's because of the compression issue. They're both amazing programs tho and if I could only have one, I'd probably choose VSO. Maybe this will help someone looking to download one of these programs.

SeeD: Tried it with InterVideo and it was taking soooo long to burn two movies, I gave up and blew it away. I don't know if it actually would have completed given more HOURS or if it just "hung" but either way, it became ridiculously long. I'll use VSO for sure now when it's two movies I'm trying to burn and InterVid when it's just one. I gave it a good try tho. :-)

Every time I try to burn this movie on Nero (7 times ) it says there is not enough space on the disk . I have a maxwell DVD+R, 4.7 GB, UP TO 16X, 2Hrs SP mode and the movies only 1hr:52min:55sec so I don't understand why the movie won't burn . I've burnt movies that are 2 hours and thirty minutes . This is irritating me , I know Nero is working cause I just burnt Night at the museum. So if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.
