I had the demo installed, then I uninstalled it and installed this program. The program refuses to launch. When I execute it, a whole lot of nothing happens, I just get the waiting icon for a sec or two then it goes back to normal again. No main window comes up at all. This is probably some kind of protection against piracy. Anyone have a solution?

Oh an other question i had the free version that only recording 29 sek, but when i was about touse it and i record little bit from a movie it did'nt record anything i found no movie....it used to record but suddenly i don't do it any more someone have a sulution?

I can't comfirm this right now, but I believe that you should remove the demo from the registry. Just typer regedit to your Sart>Run. It's not that hard to find from there. It's probably somewhere called something like Local_Machine and Software. It's there even if you uninstalled the program.

Ok, what u do is go to Start menu and where it says My Computer, Right click on it and click search, search your entire "My Computer" Directory for the key word Fraps, delete anything that comes up, then reinstall fraps and it should work. (Note: Make sure no Version of fraps is installed while doing this)

1: uninstall fraps retail and/or demo 2: delete the files in your temp folder (eg: C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\local settings\temp) 3: delete the file frapsvid.dll located in your windows\system32 4: Open up regedit, do a search for {06D25F1D-4E4A-614E-267F-6AE746520B43} (ctrl + F) 5: Once you have found your folder, press on the + beside it, that should bring up its subdirs. delete all subdirs except for "InprocServer32" 6: move on to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Licenses, delete it. 7: now locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RFC1156Agent \Currentversion\parameters and delete the "parameters" directory 8: after deleting "parameters" dir, goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography \RNG and deleete "RNG" dir also. 9: lastly, close regedit and reboot your pc Hope this helps!

Yep pops up and closes, I even opened Taskmanager and saw fraps.exe pop up for only a second. I was really looking forward to this

i got a fresh windows install and installed this version,nothing happens,their is some kind of non crackable security on fraps that if you got a illegal version downloaded it just doesnt start the game up...
