MKV files are useless shit. theres nothing you can do with them. you're wasting yours and everyone else's time ripping them in that format. whats wrong with .avi?

Jamie, .mkv is a "container" ... has a number of related files, audio, video (x264), subtitles.. If you run it thru ConvertXtoDVD you can burn it to disc....

Jamie... How wrong can you be... Chroma PLayer 2008.1 playes MKV files perfectly!!! It got rave reviews and is probably the best player on the market at this time. IT out performed VLC, Windows media player, DivX'x player, QuickTime Pro, and many others... One reason it got such excelleant reviews is that it DOES play the more obscure formats so quit lying to the public by saying that no player will play a MKV file format.. DLARRYM1 here again, I forgot to include the web site for CHROMA PLAYER vs2008.1. There are 3 or for earlier versions but this is the lates release.
