anyone have problems playing this on a dvd player that can play divx? the first two lost releases worked perfectly on my philips dvd player, then the third one did this thing where it repeated every third frame.. frames were like this: 1, 2, 3, 3, 5, 6, 7, 7, 9, 10, 11, 11, 13.. etc i havent tried this release yet, but i made about 15 coasters before giving up last week...

Dragline you need to download mpeg4modifier from http://www.moitah.net/, load up the avi, check the box "unpack bitstream" then resave it and it should work on your standalone player.

Ive downloaded this torrent twice now and both times when i try to open it it crashes my comp, comes up saying internet explorer has an error and needs to close, then one pops up about windows media player saying the same thing?? any suggestions?

I have downloading Lost throu eztv, I know they are the best. but my download rate is never above 20kb/s. is there a way i can make it faster? I have ADSL with 2MB/s downloading. any help.

Yeah, upload faster and you'll receive faster, and use a client that supports encrypted transfers (uTorrent, Azureus, BitComet). Oh, and get a decent ISP because quite a few restrict BitTorrent transfers.

same here. it's not the codec, i've had the same problem with Alias s05e01. It only works with vlc.

It is the codec as vlc has most codecs bulit in but builderbrad is running linux so most likely would require a diff codec for his operating system, i don't know if you guys have checked this site below or not but thought it might help uz: http://www.usinglinux.org/multimedia/libdivxdecore.html builderbrad just change to a normal operating system....

The problems you are all having IS a codec problem, first use Gspot to ensure you have the correct codec for the file and if that doesnt help then try this link which will give you some idea as to what program may be giving you the problem ( http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/3379p1.html ). I know this is a codec issue coz i had the same problem a while ago and remember having to uninstall all video and sound related progs and reinstalling them 1 at a time to identify the offending program.

Ok, the file does work, i got it to work with VLC. But i still can't delete it as it keeps crashing eveytime i try to open it.

The problem is the codec Windows uses to view the first frame of the file in Thumbnail view, this is what causes Explorer to crash, to delete the file you will need to go into the folder while NOT in this view or explorer crashes before you can delete the file. If you are unable to do this then you will need to delete the file using DOS (command prompt). fadc...it IS a codec problem and you will need to identify which codec you are using that is causing the problem, without testing this myself on your pc I cannot tell you which one it is but it IS deffo a codec issue. In repeat...THIS IS A CODEC ISSUE, the fact it works in VLC which uses its own in-built codecs tells you this.

forgot to mention....fadc....you may wanna try uninstalling the codecs you have installed, use Gspot again until is recognises the codec is not installed and then install the latest version of that codec. Codecs are being constantly updated to allow for better compression and quality and it may be that you have an older version of the required codec.

I grabbed this file from SeedPeer.com - (im assuming its the same one?) .. Included in the file was a "Read Me" file stating that EZTV have been issued with 'lawsuits' and are requesting donations...? It strikes me as being "fake". Can anyone else concur?

I have the same problem as TrvDriver (though it's explorer.exe crashing, not internet explorer.) I use media player classic, but no matter what, every time I try to open this it crashes. I have tried a couple other torrents and the same thing happens.

It is the codec as vlc has most codecs bulit in but builderbrad is running linux so most likely would require a diff codec for his operating system, i don't know if you guys have checked this site below or not but thought it might help uz: http://www.usinglinux.org/multimedia/libdivxdecore.html builderbrad just change to a normal operating system....

The problems you are all having IS a codec problem, first use Gspot to ensure you have the correct codec for the file and if that doesnt help then try this link which will give you some idea as to what program may be giving you the problem ( http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/3379p1.html ). I know this is a codec issue coz i had the same problem a while ago and remember having to uninstall all video and sound related progs and reinstalling them 1 at a time to identify the offending program.

The problem is the codec Windows uses to view the first frame of the file in Thumbnail view, this is what causes Explorer to crash, to delete the file you will need to go into the folder while NOT in this view or explorer crashes before you can delete the file. If you are unable to do this then you will need to delete the file using DOS (command prompt). fadc...it IS a codec problem and you will need to identify which codec you are using that is causing the problem, without testing this myself on your pc I cannot tell you which one it is but it IS deffo a codec issue. In repeat...THIS IS A CODEC ISSUE, the fact it works in VLC which uses its own in-built codecs tells you this.

Codecs are being constantly updated to allow for better compression and quality and it may be that you have an older version of the required codec.

I grabbed this file from SeedPeer.com - (im assuming its the same one?) .. Included in the file was a "Read Me" file stating that EZTV have been issued with 'lawsuits' and are requesting donations...? It strikes me as being "fake". Can anyone else concur?

anyone have problems playing this on a dvd player that can play divx? the first two lost releases worked perfectly on my philips dvd player, then the third one did this thing where it repeated every third frame.. frames were like this: 1, 2, 3, 3, 5, 6, 7, 7, 9, 10, 11, 11, 13.. etc i havent tried this release yet, but i made about 15 coasters before giving up last week...

Dragline you need to download mpeg4modifier from http://www.moitah.net/, load up the avi, check the box "unpack bitstream" then resave it and it should work on your standalone player.
