Pether: Philistine was situated roughly were Gaza is today. Not in Israel. Philistine was a greek colony. They weren't arabs. The "palestinians" have nothing to do with the Philistees. The brittish who didn't have a clue on the ethymology of the word palestine used to call the people who lived in the Brittish Mandate jewish palestinians and arab palestinians. The major part of the brittish mandate is now called Jordania. Palestine never existed. And if you believe that it did. Please account for when that was. And where that was? What the palestinan currency was called. Who was their King? etc etc... After the roman invasion the jewish territories were invaded by the Ottoman empire. After the turks the brittish took over... (By the way most of the countries in the region have no historical borders and were invented after the fall of the Ottoman empire.) It's a myth that jews and arabs coexisted peacefully before Israel was declared. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem even met with Hitler and Co and helped to form muslim SS troops! But none of this really have anything to to with this torrent... Basicly the wall is a good thing. It has reduced the terror attacks on Israel dramatically. The problem isn't the wall. The problem is that some idiots built it on the wrong place. If it had been built on internationally established borders nobody would have had the right to critizise it. (Wich of course wouldn't have made any difference in the amount of protests... )

By the way. Inspired by the Israeli results India is building a 4100 km long (yes 4100 km!!!) wall between India and Bangladesh to defend itself against terror attacks from islamists (did I hear somebody claim that islamist terror is a result of the israeli treatment of muslims? Does that account for terror in Bangladesh, Africa, Pakistan, Afganistan, Phillipines and so on aswell?) And inspired by Israel Saudi is building a wall towards Irak to protect themselves against islamist terror attacks. (Muslims afraid of islamists!) Well, the concept is ancient. Anybody hear of the great wall in China? Built to protect China against savage neighbours. If Israel is the terror state. How come nobody buildt a fence/wall around Israel to protect themselves against israel?

Please, all of those can be answered and broken down pretty easily. Noone every says all terrorism is caused by israel. The ones in Lebanon/Palestine is. As much is is UK/France and the US fault for the turbulence in the area. The India/Paki stuff is due to things you'll find in any history book. And then we got the ones in the SEA that wants to form an independent state. What about the jews that were collaborating with Nazi Germany? And the jewish terrorist? Which later became a part of the israeli government? And there is a big difference between the chinese wall and todays wall. A few thousand years to name one. The wall reduced the pain on israel, but increased the pain on palestine ALOT. And you fail to see, israel doesnt care about anyone or anything. "Boohoo? Against the international law? Fuck that." And then they got USA to veto anything that would put an end to the occupation and bring peace. And the fact that USA gives alot of 'aid' to isreal, enough to feed the world for 3 years. And then USA supports terroristgovervments, but not the ones that fight for freedom. The ones that does anything to prevent it. Why? Because people doesnt want to do anything that can upset the poor little jews. They suffered enough. Anyone who says anything negative about israel is called a anti-semite, and noone wants to be called that. Or?

Pether: 1) You avoided the question of the "palestinian" historic claims. I can understand why. 2) If the reason for islamist terror are influences from outside the muslim world. How do you account for the internal fighting between islamsists and other muslims. (The first suicide bombers for instance surfaced in the war between Iran and Irak.) 3) Nazi collaboration: I wasn't talking about desperate individuals trying to survive. I was talking about the arab leadership. 4) The fence as such isn't against international law. (Only about 10% is in fact a wall.) It's the idiotic placement of PARTS of it (not on Israels undisputed 1949 borders). I totally agree with that. It should be teared down and moved. 5) If you want to be taken seriously, stop the generalizing racist comments like "poor little jews..." and "Since the first thing a jew does when he is proven wrong...". Since you don't want to appear anti-semitic, keep to relevant factual comments.

I also agree to that the fence/wall must be moved, all the way to jordan and to the gaza strip so that Judea and Samaria - Bethlehem, Jerusalem witch as everybody know belongs to Israel again can be free. Also it would be proper to tear down the al-aqsa mosque whitch these terrorist mounted on the temple mount where the jewish temple belongs.
