"Windows Media Player encountered a player while playing the file." at 2:03. After that (even if you try to skip forward BEFORE it encounters 2:03) it won't play, so everything after 2:03 is corrupt. Congratulations, you all got a 2:03 version of Scanner Darkly.

I was wrong, it didn't work the first time, but it did work the second time (the skipping). You can skip from 02:00 to 04:30 approximately and the rest of the movie is fine (at least so far, I'm at 29:00 now)

Had several problems with this rip on 3 different computers. Took 4 times to burn to a disc, and after "successfully" burning, DVD players for some reason cant read at 1 hr 19 min 54 sec. Tried with roxio, nero 7 and 8... try this on a rw disc before burning to a permanent because I am glad I did. Reformatted disc and moved onto a different movie. Still worth a watch though, just for some reason, a burp for players :(

update to previous post... DVD drives were all from same manufacturer under different names (what a nightmare and rip off)... they struggled reading the 2nd layer of the burn (dvd dl). works like a charm now.
