@ hezqeel: yes, it does indeed work. The only problem you could encouter is extremely low framerates as the games are designed for a PS2 which is more powerfull than most regular desktop computers.

Fuck everythings a virus to anti-virus software. If the anti virus doesnt know what it is it usually shows up as a virus. Like 90% of the shit that pops up in anti virus are false alarm viruses. I've been running my PC without antivirus for years, downloading whatever and I dont have a single virus on my computer. You only get viruses from being retarded and accepting them when a popup or and email shows up and is like "OMG CLICK THIS PAGE NOW!" and by downloading PORN and downloading obvious virus files like music files that end in .exe and files that you know are huge but happen to be under 3.5mb's.

Kinda funny, I downloaded this, installed it, closed it once, ran it again then closed it and then a message popped up that my computer had to shut down within 1 minute, after that it took me 5 hours to fully restore my PC... could only run it in safe mode, I think my vista screwed up, I really doubt theres virus in this torrent, it's still strange though.

Hi there... Mind helping me out... I downloaded a PS2 game from uTorrent.. It is an ISO file so I used PowerISO to Mount it on a Virtual Drive (CD-Rom/H).. I open the emulator and then click on File>Run CD/DVD.. It then came out a Window asking which file to open.. It seems there are no supported formats in that DCD game.. But there are KP2 files in it.. So, I clicked on it.. And it loads and then the PS2 Main Menu appears and the only thing I can do is Browse/Format the memory cards and edit System Configuration.. And I've tried opening all the KP2 Files in it.. So, any ideas how to solve this..? Thanks in Advance.. Your Help will be much Appreciated.. Cheers...

Ok... 1. This emulator DOES work. 2. I recommend a dual core cpu at at least 2.4Ghz ( so 1 core can be dedicated to Epsxe2, do this through task manager ) 2Gb of system memory and at least 344Mb DDR of dedicated graphics memory, otherwise it will be ****e to crashes and may impair performance. @jiggs24 -- SE_LOCK_MEMORY Means that windows does not have enough memory to utilize windows services and the Epsxe2 emulator, get more memory of free some up in processes. P.S -- If you are running a RegFixed copy of windows (cracked) the emulator's tend's to mess with the memory too much, writing and deleting so if u have a regfixed version of XP or Vista i dont recommend using Emulator's. Hope this helped

PSX-2 released it's latest v0.9.6 version emulator at http://www.pcsx2.net The emulator runs just fine on my (cracked) copy of XP pro SP3. now just to find more reliable roms. rock on dudes!
