Our goal is a stable, usable OS with flexibility and integration during the creative process. If you can imagine a configuration, chances are Ubuntu Studio can do it. The design philosophy is one of many software components that all integrate with one another. 

We have a worldwide network of support as we’re an official derivative of the Ubuntu operating system – more about Ubuntu can be read at Ubuntu.com We also work a great deal with the Xubuntu (another official Ubuntu derivative) community since we switched to the Xfce desktop environment.
