This time Kay and Jay are separated by distance and time. A cruel and very dangerous criminal named Boris escapes from the prison located on Mars and swears to revenge himself by eliminating Key from the entire history. He travels back in time and manages to make Kay nonexistent. Kay’s all time partner Jay has to travel to the same period of time where he meets up younger Kay performed by probably the best godsend for the film named Josh James Brolin; since Jay and Kay collaboration days are obviously gone. Together they hardly spend 15 minutes in one sequence and they look really exhausted. However, the moment Smith gets the chance to work with Brolin everything changes drastically and we see our old time favorite actor booming with jokes and witty remarks while Brolin performs his role of dull big guy perfectly. One more thing the film has grossed astounding sums of money and even managed to beat The Avengers according to weekly box office results.
