It's the story of Jim Longworth, a Chicago detective. After false accusations of an affair with the wife of captain, he moved to a small town in Florida, where golf and sunshine are in abundance, and crime is minimized. However, life in the town is not as great as was seen at a glance. Defiant police quarrels with his head, forcing our hero to move to sunny Miami. Our policeman loves golf and does not recognize the authority! He has no order! But, nevertheless, it seems like quite a nice guy, successfully leading the investigation, and a nurse caring for the local hospital, helping to educate one son, while her husband is in jail. The series is not so bad, but it would have gone to the glory of being the only police in a series of stories with original protagonists. On the other hand, the TV series has its advantages: for example, the final of the first series turns, surprisingly, quite unexpected, especially considering all the cliches imposed by the audience!
