Good Bye Lenin

Alex's mother fell into a coma shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall. And when she finally came to, never had the GDR, nor of "victorious socialism." Concerned for the health of mother, Alex has decided not to tell her about the change: what could be more lethal for communist as the triumph of capitalism? Son had to go to the deception and turn their apartment into an island of the past, the last bastion of non-existent state. Studiously pretend that the cause of Lenin still lives and wins. Human life is in stages. Here in this picture we have shown quite clearly that this is so. No matter how wonderful the world in which our parents lived, it has gone - like the mother of the hero: a wonderful, active and strong woman who believed in a brighter future for their children and their great DDR, in the end, moving two heart attacks, left this world. Further, her children, so different and so different from her own ideals, have a fresh look at reality, remained in the new country. The future is in their hands.
