 This hip-hop musical film starring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa was preceded by the hip-hop music album of the same name which was released in 2011. Owing to huge success of one of the tracks - namely Young, Wild & Free featuring Bruno Mars – the producer of the album Snoop Dogg decided to create a movie with the song as a hymn. It was decided that the two main performers of the tracks from the album would become the main characters of the movie. Therefore, Wiz Khalifa performs the role of a talented and promising high school student Devin who has been struggling to become the best but was hugely disappointed to find out that his hard work at school has left him with absolutely nothing and has nothing to do with the real world, experience or job getting. Later, he gets acquainted with Mac performed by Snoop Dogg a 15 year senior lazy bad boy who has real success with women and doesn’t pay much attention to his career. Mac’s only problem is his desperate love to the chemistry teacher who doesn’t pay attention to this freak looser. So, they get together in order to get completely different experience; one in studying and the other one in doing dab things.
