The story of American journalist Julia Jermond, the last twenty years living in Paris and dedicated to the investigation of the tragedy that took place in France (not only) in 1942.
This is one of the darkest pages of French history: in 1942, 12 884 Jews were gathered at the Paris Velodrome Vel d'Eve, and then deported to Auschwitz. The French do not like to recall events in the Velodrome: after all, the whole operation, bearing the mocking name of «Spring Wind», although it was carried out on German orders, but the actual perpetrator was France.
