 The continuation of highly successful 2008 Journey to the Center of the Earth is brought with almost the same scale. However, now Sean performed again by Josh Hutcherson is a full-grown teenager who gets a mysterious sign presumably from his grandfather. To find out the truth Sean steals through research center to get the signal. However, he is caught by the police and is taken home by his step-father. At home Sean tells Hank about the strange signal and willing to get close with his step-son Hank is very helpful to find out the truth. Together they discover that this signal was made from a mysterious island which was described in many novels by different authors. However, this island is missing on the map, but Sean is desperate to find out the truth.
