Cheyenne, een rijke voormalige rockster die z'n pensioen maar saai en vermoeiend vindt, besluit op zoek te gaan naar de kwelduivel van z'n vader, een ex-nazi oorlogsmisdadiger die zich momenteel in de VS verschuilt. Als hij verneemt dat z'n vader op sterven ligt, reist hij naar New York in de hoop zich met hem te kunnen verzoenen. Het brengt hem op een bijzondere reis, wanneer blijkt dat zijn vader overleden is.
