Sci-fi thriller "The darkest hour" continues the tradition of the popular films "28 Days" and "28 Weeks Later." The picture is shot under the direction of Timur Bekmambetov, who became producer of the movie. The film’s actions take place in Moscow. Here, comes a group of foreign tourists, among which is an American Tirlbi. Visits of historical sites of the Russian capital are interrupted by unexpected invasion of aliens. Tirlbi, reuniting with her comrades in misfortune, fights with aliens, destroying all life in their path.
