Componisten/producers Barend Fransen en Ferdi Lancee hebben de periode van Dorona's zwangerschap gebruikt om een geheel nieuw album te schrijven en op te nemen. Het nieuwe leven in Dorona's buik vormde de inspiratie voor het album en dat heeft geleid tot 12 nieuwe songs met persoonlijker teksten dan voorheen. De nieuwe songs vormen de basis van de nieuwe theatertour van Gare Du Nord die start op zaterdag 7 januari 2012 in De Poorterij in Zaltbommel en afgesloten wordt op vrijdag 1 juni in Theater Diligentia in Den Haag.
