Mr. Popper is een machtige zakenman uit New York, die plotseling zes pingu┬┤ns erft van zijn vader. Hij verandert zijn appartement in een wonderlijke winterwereld. Director Mark S. Waters decided to improve his ranking, as his last few movies were not very successful. Thus he decided to shoot an adaptation of a children's book written by Richard and Florence Atwater in the first half of the 20th century – “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”. Witty jokes and thoughtful plot ... and Jim Carrey! Here are the three pillars of modern good comedy. The film reveals not only family values, but also how to save yourself. Hero of Carrey, who was given a gift of penguins trying to save his family, while he has to sacrifice his career. But the career is ultimately not the main value of his life. In the end we got a good and life movie, after seeing of which we obtain only positive emotions.
