Mk, a lot of the time people make the mistake of just putting the crack into the game directory. You have to find the file with the exact name as the crack and overwrite it. If u don't it wont be able to find the files to start the game and will tell u they are missing.

I managed to get the game downloaded and installed, but, like many others, it keeps crashing when I open it. I think it's because I don't have pixel shaders on my graphics card, but I've been able to play Dawn of War alright without them. Is there a way to get around this? Cheers.

I downloaded this game, then got the latest version of daemon tools lite. Mounted the first ISO, followed the installation instructions, everything went fine. GREAT Torrent! I am running this on Vista. I followed the directions made by Pirateyargh and it works great. The only problem I had was some of the resolution issues. The HUD was adjusted for a 800 X 600 screen and so I just had to go to control panel and adjust my resolution before I started up the game. I hope this helps. Thanks Abedfm and Pirateyargh!

never mind, the second part worked, to put the console you need total commander. Enter the folder with the exe file. Then click on the path that is down and put "vampire.exe -console 1" or "vampire.exe -console". You will enter the game and you can activate the console by "~".

i get this problem when im installing the first disc "error 1309. Error reading from file: M:\Setup\Data\vampire.exe. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. i tried to open it, but it said i didnt have the authority to access it. If i press ignore and finish the installation, the game doesnt open at all. what do i do? thanks.

Here's some info in case you get the same problem I did. When starting the game my monitor went black and entered hibernation mode! Here's the solution. Click on start Click on run Type "dxdiag" (without quotes) Look along the tabs and click on More help Click override In the box input 60 Game works! Remember to go back into dxdiag when you've finished playing and set override back to default.

While I was downloading it my AVG popped up about a third of the way through and warned me there was a virus within the torrented files. I moved the infected file to the vault and that caused the torrent to fail because it deleted a piece. I don't know for sure what happened since no one has mention having a virus in it but that was what happened to me, just fyi.

Hello. I seem to have a problem with installing this game. Actually, I seem to be not able to install this game at all. I use Daemon Tools Lite and I mounted the image. The little window thing with the options come up and I click INSTALL. I get to that part where it asks for the language, then when I click 'ok' another mini window with a progress bar pops up (the installshield wizard) and then nothing happens. I've tried restarting my PC, and even downloaded the HOODLUM torrent of this game as well, but the same thing keeps on happening. Is someone else having this problem? And if so, is it possible to fix it (successfully install the game?) PLEEEEEEEEEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HELPPPPP

i burned every file with alcohol 120%. The CD 1 have problem with autorun and if you try to install in d:\setup, the installation don´t find many files. (i think it is the some problem of cryzgirl) so i used the daemon tools... autorun ok...but installation have one problem... During installation appear many messengers like this: "Error 1309. Error reading file: E:\Setup\Data\Vampire\Sound\Area\Santa Monica main bg.mp3. Verify that the file exists and that you can acces it" I ignored these messengers and finished the installation. I installed the game using DAEMON tools and the game worked fine for a very little while. I had only just started the first level, then the game crashed. I tried starting the game but when I would try to load a saved game the loading window would come then everything would go black and I would get an error. Game doesn't work Tried even patching it but it didn't work. And my computer has enough VGA and RAM... someone help

I also had the "Error 1309. Error reading file: (ect.)" while installing. It appears that the files are on the disc 2 while the installer wants them to be on disc 1. Anyways I solved this issue by manually coping the files from disc 2 to the installed file on your computer (in your program files). Then clicking the ignore on the installer. I hope this helps some people.

I used the torrent to download the game and I had the same problem, but I can solved them and now the game works perfectly. You need to do this: a) the game doesn't work: 1- I was reading the Manual file of the game and saw that the game has a protection against copy or emulated CDs. So, I found a No-CD crack to run the game. 2- If it doesn't work, try to install the game using the Daemon Tools program, instead of Alcohol 120%. I used and works better than the alcohol. 3- If this doesn't work too, see if your computer is with low virtual memory. Also, in the Gamefaqs site, is an walkthrough teaching how to fix these problems. b) Bug in Lopold Society. 1- This is easer than you think. Just download and install the patch 1.2 to fiz this and several other problems with this game. Tha patch is found in the official site of the game. I hope that I could help anyone that is having problems with the game.

To #47. I had the same problem, you need to go to Properties of the .exe file > compatibility and change it to run via Windows 98. Works like a charm. There's nothing wrong with the torrent, just vista is still ****ty.
