according to amazon.com the bluray comes out in june 2009. labeling this as HD is EXTREMELY misleading and you seriously should know better. granted we all appreciated the effort but then state what it is, not some made up white lie saying its HD. HD has THE SOURCE as 720p or 1080p and most certainly does not include any UPSCALED rips. again, thanks for the effort mate but i'm gonna pass.

Very good quality, the sound is good too. and have a older pc too Blackrave . I have compaq presario 5000 with a 1.6ghz AMD with 512 mbs ram and ATI 9600 pro. Also have Sound Blaster audigy 2 ZS. Plays great in 720P on my PC, no laggin what so ever. Thx for tha upload THX1138. i will help you share

I don't wanna be a pain in the ass.. this probably took much of your time..but an upscaled dvd doesn´t make it HD. I'll just wait for the actual HD version with new sweet textures ^^ good job though ^^

What is the point in this? You could have just uploaded a file of the same quality and the original resolution and it would only have been around 1.3GB. You can't increase the quality by upscaling. If I had a image of resolution 200x150, I won't get a high quality image if I resize it to 2048x1536.

Hello THX great job making this look like 720 HD quality resolution. Still will not be the same as if Square-Enix have done it but it is really great done. Basically when making a file larger the file with it's picture quality and sound get's better. It has more room for making it. What I mean is when you make a file too small it loses quality. When making a file larger the file with it's data got more space for playing data into sound and picture. I have seen it it looks great=)

Hi, I don't doubt the quality of this movie anymore. I'm looking very forward to seeing it. Currently, I'm 3% done and downloading at about 20 kb/s. I hope it'll speed up. Thanks again for willing to share this video and even use a lot of time just for encoding. Have a nice life.

There aren't any publicly available HD (720p, 1080i nor 1080p) sources of this movie yet. The DVD that was released on 4/25/06 was a regular DVD, so I assume you just upsample the original release up to 720p for this?

this can never b 720p becuase hd movie take a lot of space n nt 3.5 gb wen a dvd version takes round about 4 gb also there r no hd versions of this movie out. THX1138 u should have just upsampled it to 720p but it is only gonna b strecthed rather than being hd also i have seen a preview of ur rip n its abit lower than original dvd quality as i have a dvd of this iam currently downloading this anyway also other than my opnions really appreciate u ripping this for us thx

EVERY! BE WARNED !!!!! this copy is not hd quality but a good dvdrip upscale to 1280*720 other than that there is no difference n THX1138's !080p copy will be the same he will just increase the resolution wen ripping tats all THERE IS NO BETTER QUALITY IS THIS THAN THE DVD VERSION

why not just invest in a vga cable for your xbox 360 and upscale all you standard dvd's to 720p-1080p like a standard copy of FFVII:ADVENT CHILDREN? The spring update allowed that (ONLY via VGA mind you and VGA should only be used ti watch video, switch back you the component avi when playing games) as well being able to stream mp4's. If i was all you guy i would wait for someone to rip the director cut, high def 'advent children: complete' later on when it releases and covert to WMV_HD or mp4.
