Download the above mentioned file. I use VLC Media Player to play the files. With VLC go to file->Open File. Make sure to click the Load Subtitles button, then Settings and browse to the subtitles file.

This is an extremely violent movie. I was surprised with how far some of the scenes went. This film is entirely in french. Perfectly synced English subs can be found at: http://subtitles.images.o2.cz/d/122922/Irreversible.html Video: 8/10 Audio: 10/10 Worth downloadging.

superdead: you can do one more thing, when the movie starts playing in the VLC player, just drag and drop the subtitle file in VLC, it should work, I too do the same thing, its hassle free..... Anyways, I still need to download the movie, I am thinking whether to download it or not? What kind of a movie is it? Do we atleast get to see Monica nude in some steamy scenes?

Hi , sorry for my incompetence , can anyone please explain again , how the subtitles file coowork with the movie file , I've tried to download both put them into the same folder, but nothing happened ! what I missed ? please help I really want to enjoy the movie but I don't speak french !!!

It is a very good film, pretty much a revenge movie. But it is shown in reverse, from the very graphic revenge attack to the original reason of the revenge, a brutal and 9 minute long **** scene. It uses low-frequency sound to build up the atmosphere, as well as disorientating camera work to make the viewer feel anxious etc.

I had trouble with them too, the second link worked for me after messing around with it for a bit. I'm using vlc so it might be different for you. I first made sure the movie and the sub track were in the same folder ( and im not sure if this is necessary ) but i labeled them both " 1 " and on vlc i went up to video then clicked on subtitles track and picked track " 1 " and it started working like magic. Hope this helps

This movie is french. Can get english sub titles. the quality is great but be forwarned, this is one of the most disturbing movies I have EVER seen. It is so hard to watch and if you can, which I could hardly do, it will haunt you for a long time. I watched it a month ago and can't forget it. Very good but disturbing if you can take it. Believe me it is very hard to do. Never seen anything like it and probably never will again.
