Directorial debut of Hollywood actor Michael Rapaport "Beats Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest" is about legendary hip-hop team A Tribe Called Quest, acquired by Sony Pictures Classics which is engaged in renting in the U.S. art-house cinemas. The film has already been presented during the festival Sundance, where it was very warmly received by the public. The documentary traces the path group organizing and considering the relations within the team. Production of the draft has engaged Rival Pictures and State Street Pictures. A Tribe Called Quest is one of the most influential groups in the history of hip-hop. In spite of their belonging to the alternative niche in this genre, the band achieved significant success with the public. Albums of the team in the early 1990s, diverged millions of copies, and record "The Low End Theory" is one of the cornerstones of hip-hop works of that decade.
