Life Is Peachy is the second album of the American metal band Korn. It was released on October 15, 1996 through Epic/Immortal Records. The album has sold over 4 million copies worldwide. It was produced by Ross Robinson who had worked earlier with the Korn’s debut album. Life is Peachy considered to be darker than the previous album and touches more unusual topics. The video that demonstrates the process of recording Life is Peachy titled “Who Then Now?” was included in the after coming video album “Deuce”.

We can learn from “Who Then Now?” that all the materials were made in about two days. It was because all members of the group were in tour dedicated to the debut album and they really wanted to go touring again.

The song “No Place to Hide” brought to a band the second Grammy nomination in the Best Metal Performance (it was nominated in 1998).

Many fans and critics consider that Life is Peachy has the trademark sound of Korn and the typical sound of the nu metal genre.
