Burned in a proper way to an Audio-CD you will have a continous flow of music, without gaps interrupting it. Most of the tracks are not complete in this way, it's faded in and out often after half of the original track. For this, every original track was speeded up or down a little bit at overlapping points for matching the drumbeats. The special technique used to do this prevents the audience from really realizing the speeding. <br /> <br /> DURAN DURAN, also more than 25 years on stage now was another revolutionary band of the 80s founded in Birmingham. Like no others DURAN DURAN used new media like musicvideos and MTV-presence for their commercial success. The musicvideo of 'Girls On Film', one of their blockbusters, got ignored by some TV-stations and was only played in a censored version on MTV late at night. Like them or not, when listening to this compilation you will realize how many good songs this band made. DURAN DURAN is a unique piece of last centuries pop and they are continouing. DURAN DURAN is also one of the very rare british bands of the 80s (and there was a lot of good music coming form the island in the 80s) with great success on the other side of the pond. So this has to get honoured I think. I did it with this. For the first time in a mix, I included some live-tracks, in this case here from &quot;Arena&quot;. It fits somehow better to this mix than the studio-versions and I am sure I am not wrong in this.<br /> So please give it a download.
