Sometimes your mobile phone receives strange phone calls. Voice on the phone - your own, but all you hear is a terrible dying scream. Now you know the date and circumstances of your death. It will happen exactly in three days. In "One Missed Call" not only the atmosphere is strange, but also and music. Perhaps composers have specially selected such accompaniment. Since the death in the film comes from cell phones, the music was created as if by pressing buttons on the phone. Acting of the main cast has pleased. There was no affectedness or falsity. Shannyn Sossamon has done with the role, not a bit shy. "One missed call" is associated with any documentaries. These surveys are unique to any melodrama or comedies, but never for a horror movie. During the preparation for the film director Eric Valette didn’t watch specifically Japanese version of the original picture and asked his actors not to do this also. The film is based on the novel Yasushi Akimoto, a Japanese writer and is a remake of a Japanese painting "Chakushin Ari" (2003). "One missed call" was shot in Atlanta in Georgia, including Georgia Institute of Technology.
