Quackware, the file i tried it on wasnt that large, i just get not responding at the top. I left it for about 5 mins but it didnt respond. I'll try on a smaller file....

I managed to protect a smaller file, although all you have to do to get into the file without the password is right click the folder and take ownership of the file and you can open it without any prompt. I take it this isnt supposed to happen?

I am using Vista (x64), and the program works just fine. If it says (not responding), most likely it means the program is working, ( locking your files & folder). For me it takes about 30 seconds per 100mb, within the folder). If its taking much, much longer than re-install .Net Framework 2.0
