Wow, thanks again. Assuming that the subtitles aren't hardcoded, what the easiest fastest way to hard code them? I tried last time for Ong Bak but was unsuccessful to say the least. A for Dummies step by step tutorial would be much obliged. Thanks in advance, keep it bro....

Via Ps3, I put all my movies on an External then watch them on the big screen via the system.

I think you can create an AVCHD without reencoding the video stream (which you'd have to do to hardcode subs) and add the srt subtitles that way. You just have to reencode th audio to AC3 (you can keep the 5.1 ch this way too if you want). NOTE: The first time you try to run mediacoder it will open a webpage. Just check the 'do not open next time mediacoder starts' box and then click 'open mediacoder' instead of doing the online setup. Let me know if that works. I know PS3 plays AVCHD but I'm not sure it'll play the subs in them. I know it won't play srt subs muxed into an MP4. Here's a similar guide you may find useful but it's talking about using an MKV source that already has an AC3 or DTS audio stream. Convert MKV to AVCHD for PS3 and Blu-ray http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_mkv_to_avchd_for_ps3_and_blu-ray.cfm Remuxing and encoding audio doesn't take long at all since it doesn't involve reencoding the video (and reencoding to hardcode the subs w/ avidemux often causes audio sync issues in h264 files).
