the version no. is 1.0.631.00003 i downloaded from the last Taiwan version that was uploaded and then removed from mininova though. so if this is the same one, it is the real one. good luck

@Fryloc6 I believe you have the Beta Version... the retail version from what I've read appears to be "1.0.631" (with the other digits meaning the region of the copy) You'll be missing a lot of content. :p

Ok, installed perfectly. However, when I click "play" in the game's main menu, the game verifies that I do not have the proper game disc and should contact customer support... I have the iso mounted via Daemon Tools. I have done this many times, but looks like we will need a crack to get this game to run. Anyone got any ideas?

Oh wait, I found the answer to my own problem. If you have Alcohol 120%, you have to place it on "Ignore Media File" and "Bad Sectors Emulation" which both can be found under Emulation and Extra Emulation. Happy Simming

I started downloading yesterday, early morning or afternoon (I forget) the speeds weren't TOO bad for me, it was about 50% by the time I went to bed at 1am, it must have gotten done at some point in the middle of the night. Just want you to know there are people seeding out here, and I will continue to seed. I am having somewhat of a prob.. I downloaded it and when I mount it avg pops up and says some trojan in the .exe file (ignore it?) and then after that I get a pop up saying that windows cannot access the file or anything because I need to make sure I have access. Any clue what I can do to get this to install? Please help and thanks in advance, also using Vista Home Premium 64.

hey guys....I am at 25%....I mounted the image file...fortunately it didn't show an error....the installer showed up...Guess wat ---- it has english , it is indeed the retail version of sims3.... if u dont believe me...just try mounting the file after u've completed atleast 25%

BANANARAMA hav all the jpgs been downloaded....??? look in the 'files' tab in utorrent.....if some arent finished yet...try previewing them rite now...preview wont be available.....after all jpgs r downloaded to 100%...try previewing again...if the image loads...then no prob...the iso or the mdf will download in the same way without any probs
