Whats the deal with removing the show from the website? They had the gall to screen the show on national TV but they take the net re-watch off their web page all because few people have a tanty over a few slightly distasteful skits and the ABC loses its balls! What happened to freedom of speech in this country?

I think they will put the episode back on the website, once they have taken out the controversial skit. There has been uproar today over the skit with thousands of complaints to the ABC and many angry calls to Talkback radio stations. I personally like the Chasers, but this was definitely the wrong thing for them to do, they crossed the line with this and should have known better. At least they have apologised for doing it

Personally, I think it was taken entirely out of context. I saw the news after watching it on ABC the night before, with headlines like, "Chaser making fun of sick and dying children".... Now, because I had actually seen it, I knew that the joke was on the charities that grant wishes to sick children, NOT sick children in general....with the tag line "Giving more REALISTIC wishes" That should of said it all.
