I really like the idea shifting all ****** taxes to a consumption tax. I am also very grateful to all of the FairTax folks for all of the research and advocacy of this approach they have done and wish them resounding success in their efforts.

Unfortunately the fair tax will never be passed by our now socialist president and congress. Too much power would be put in the hands of the people who pay their bills. Socialist can never have that occur. To socialist it is all about control of the populace. Again, unfortunately, too many people in America have sold their freedoms for government handouts. I gave a good portion of my life defending this country and am very concerned for what is happening now. Sad, very sad. GO **** CHENEY!!!

I love how the liberal media is having kittens over Mr. Cheney's comments. They thought they had demonized him out of the discourse but all they did was make it more clear that he is acting out of love of country. It is a stark contrast to the poorly concealed, self serving interests of Saint Al (Gore) and Slick Willy, who have been venerated for their post-presidential shenanigans.
