Tested and still dont work. This fix doesnt fix anything. What a waste of time, gonna download the RELOADED full version instead, and never anything more from Freeman.

Yup, without this it give you the crash and you can't proceed at some point. chatbars, I think you do your best but I suspect FreeArc 5 alpha is unstable or something. Thank anyway. :D

I doubt this is the real game, I have seen posts of this game that are over 1gig. If you're not sure then don't download... its just a waste.

People, read. This is not THE GAME, this is a FIX that G Freeman released for his Rip of X-men origins Wolverine. You have to download the game (aprox 1.9gb) and also this fix, to make the game work properly after the fight with sabretooth a.k.a. Victor.

ok for all of yous that are at 99.8% copy the file into your game dir then open it will extrack but get an error on the last one. close progame. from there it will get you past the victor crash for how long it will go idk but as like me most of yous have done the victor part an had the crash. so at 99.8% you can cary on with your game. thanks again freeman G ripper good to see you look after us cheap a$$es.

@Freeman, Thanks for your continued hard work, the original worked for me, however I did experience some graphical instability, I updated everything I could think of, but I kept getting slight intermitant black flickering around the screen, this might sort it out, game was still playable though. @All, Read on the internet the other night that the retail of this game has a few bugs with it, so the problems your having might be in the game rather than Freemans version. Its working with my Q6600, 8800GTX, 8Gb Ram and Vista Ulty 64bit.

No it's being installed into the correct place. I put the fix in C:\Games\Wolverine and ran it, and it was extracting the files into WGame directory. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times now. With AV disabled. I am very computer literate.

AMD 4200+ 2GB 800mhz RAM 7600GT Installed the latest Physx and the latest Graphics Drivers. I've done a manual hash check on the torrent also, which was fine. Used 7Zip to extract. I don't usually have any problems with Rips or games. It would seem to be something wrong with my PC, but everything else is alright. hmmmmm...

@pcGripper Look mate, where is your rips? Don't have a go at people that have been very kind and generous and risk being jailed(if caught) because they are providing good rips. Confirmed. This game works with FIX. THANKS ALOT OODVS. @joeman500 - you need to also have latest DirectX. - you need to place the FIX file where you have actually already installed your game eg. C:/Games/Wolverine - put your FIX file in there & run it. - also try running wolverine.bat file hope you get it working !! cheeers.... im still wondering why GS gave it a 7/10...this game deserves atleast an 8. They say game is too easy,they give it a 7. They say game is too hard (Ninja Gaiden 2), they give it an 8. anyway Thx again oodvs.

Hi all, Iv had the game working it runs well but im getting graphical artifacts ie black tears for a breif second as you move the camera or caracter round. Also get a line scan up my screen every now and then. My system should be well capable of running it. I have updated directx, physx and my graphics card drivers but still no luck. I have had the line before with a few rips like PES2009, but not with retail games. I tried turning the vsync on and playing with all the other settings but had no luck. Im running the games off of 2 raptors in raid, with a Q6600, 8GB 1066 Ram, 8800GTX and Creative labs fatality platinum card. Anyone have the same type of problem or an Idea how to fix.

@James...try reinstalling the game. also try setting the game to low detail (eventhough that card can handle this game easily) in the options menu. Maybe you changed some settings in the nvidia control panel.

well i downloaded the 3gig movie file, so far no movies show and got the fix, still crashes after fighting SABRETOOTH, i cannot deal with going through fighting Leviathan again damn that was harsh!! i put the fix in the FREEMAN folder and ran it from there...still no go!!

@djnv2009 You need to place the FIX where the game has already been installed. By default its C:/Games/Wolverine Place the FIX there & run the file. Then go back to the desktop & open the game. It should work...hopefully

@joeman500, thanks for your comments tryed resetting my nvidia settings to default and that has got rit of the black artifacts. Must of set it up a while ago and forgot about. Still have a wave type thing travel up my screen intermitently, but are starting to think that it may be hardware side. Am going to have a play with the game settings when iv got the chance and see how I go. For anyone interested you can find more game setting in; Wolverine\Engine\BaseEngine.ini just up from the bottom under the heading of system settings.

Is everyone referring to the 'The Powers That Be' rip. THat's what I downloaded. The game runs great, but there's not voice acting on the cutscene videos. Sound effects and music during cutscene videos are present... IDK if i've gone thru the sabretooth fight yet, but I just played it for about 3.5 hours without a single bit of problems. Any ideas on the voice acting thing?
