ok, guess i shldnt have even messed with this....first of all I'm new at this i basically dont have a clue what im doin, i read the read me file it says make a desktop item and enjoy...now your telling me i need to do all this other ****, 1...theres no file that sas 'make desktop icon' 2...again i dont know what im doin, do i burn it do a reg cd and what files to i burn on the disc...not tryin to be rude man but this is turning out to be a big hassel! but i will see if i can get it workin if u can run me through it thnx

first thanx 4 the torrent My prob is that the race itself doesn't start it get's the main menu and i can select cars and stuff. but when it goes in loading screen,, it stay's there I am an IT-er so you can dump technical **** on me like i said thanx 4 the upload mate!

hmm thanx for your reply,, but still doesn't work i tried the vista version.. but it does not start. It say's win32 need for speed doesn't work anymore... and it crashes. i tried compatibility mode for al versions. It's a pity i used to play this game to dead in my PS1 time ive tried patching to new version but all it does is give me an autopatcher to connect tot ea servers.. but as i suspected there's a connection timeout(gues ea can't keep those files for ages). weird thing is only this game crashes all the other games works smootly. thanx again

I had the exact same problem as redmar112, using Window vista 32-bit. right click the .exe file in the need for speed folder and make it compatible for window 98 worked for me. However, the race itself is horrible, the controls are delayed by about 10sec.

******NGP2789***** I would like to just say that I havn't even dl'ed your game yet and I already like you. I always take the time to read ALL comments to see how the game is/working or not. I have been doing this for a few years now and You are good. Not many will take the time to go step by step for someone new like you did. For that I tip my hat to you. Execelent job. Hi bro. I was looking for a working .iso/rip of this game for a few days and i've only found broken or "16 bit" issue ones. Only one worked but the text looked bad and it was unplayable. When i check this one out i was so happy that i've only registered here only to thank you man. Playing this game remembers me when i've played it 10 years back and now i wanted to have it on my laptop where it works fine so far . Well, just thank you man for this working iso and good luck .
