@ Dankman420 There a .srt file along with the movie . Change the name of the subtitle(srt) file to exactly the same as the movie and almost every player will automatically pick the subtitles @ AaceA Xvid is a very popular video codec which most of the rippers like aXXo,FxG,FxM,etc use . This codec enables them to put a whole dvd length movie into a 700-900 MB file without much loss in quality. BTW this is a nice movie . Tom Cruise is wonderful as always. Thanks to the uploaders as well as moderators for their great work....

It is not how many times the TORRENT has been downloaded, but how many times the PAGE has been downloaded, as in "Page Views". Tested this theory a while back on some old torrents, each refresh of the page increased "Downloads" by 1. Maybe a Mod/Admin might take notice and change the label to "Page Views" or similar. Might clarify the stat and put an end to posts such as the above quote. BTW THANKS FXG!

I'm looking at his Demonoid profile now, so what are you on about???? #58 - This is just a daily maintenance that Demonoid undertakes to update traffic stats for it's trackers. This enables them to determine your user share ratio as well as updating deleted torrents etc. #61 - You recommend we download a 315mb file instead of FXG's 801mb rip??????......we have another muppet Now my question, somebody asked earlier if the subs are hardcoded for the non english speaking parts, can somebody please confirm this, and that the audio is in sync with the video. Check the details tab to see if it says anything there. Xvid (divX spelled backward)is a competitor of divX. It's not as limited on various platforms as the predecessor AND is distributed freely.

Therefore you can achieve twice the picture quality at roughly the same file size as standard AVI formats. Check out Newartriot who is a quality uploader here of H264 format rips found here - http://www.mininova.org/user/newartriot Note the file sizes of his/her rips and trust me, you can tell the difference between H264 and AVI formats when you view the video on a large plasma or even a projector......H264 is flawless.

@muncher027-the man who thinks he is a genius........post no 61 ie genocide2009 is extremely correct its a 10/10 movie uploaded by blueman warrior........just because it is 306mb doesnt mean that its bad quality...now listen carefully muncher027(the genius) ,the one by blueman is in mkv format......so it needs only 306mb.but the fxg version which is definitely a re-encode.....is in avi format so it requires 800mb....and an mp4 format requires 1.4-2gb to be of good quality so before u call others muppet think how much u now ....this will help

Will you have to watch the whole movie, wait for the parts that are in another language, go to the sub file and try to find the part that was spoken in the other language, and finally, erase the english parts? Hddvdman havent seen u in awhile thought u were gone. anyway make sure the srt file is the same exact name as the movie and make sure u keep the srt file in the same folder as the movie is in. then load the movie into convertx like u usually do. when u load the movie into convertx the srt file will automatically load with it. scroll down to subtitles in convertx and u will see it there

You suggest to open the sub file (srt) and delete all the english parts. Seeing as how the whole file will be in english, how will you know what the translated parts are? Will you have to watch the whole movie, wait for the parts that are in another language, go to the sub file and try to find the part that was spoken in the other language, and finally, erase the english parts? been using mininova for about a year now and hav only ever downloaded 2 movies with a squealing audio out of hundreds ive downloaded its only happened twice, first it was 24 from axxo and could never solve the problem so i went and rented it but now ive downloaded yes man and the same weird squealing noise is coming off the movie.i download all the movies on vuze and then put them on my ipod and plug ipod into PS3 and play them from there,been doing this since ive been using mininova and works all the time sometime i get an usupported data aswell like i did on seven pounds. TULL Im not using any i think, when the download finishes on vuze i click on it and open in explorer. then i plug my ipod into the comp and open in my computer. i then open up the video file on my ipod and just drag the movive file and drop in my ipod video file. what do you think i need to do to the movie before i drag and drop it in my ipod video file, its yes man which isnt working?? @cmcn89 Don't just drag the file to the video folder it reads as like a file only,like when u store data on flash drive, try to transfer the movie using itunes but before that u must convert the movie to mpeg4 format. read ur ipod manual for compatibility of video & audio format. i hope this will help you. ryanel

@ CmcN89 ryanel is correct u can use videora, but there are alot of them that do it for u just google it and find one u like. I tried alot of them and my favorite actually was dvdfab and handbrake. they were the easiest for me but thats up to u. This should fix your problem for u. Question for u, the other movies u put on your ipod that worked great what was the codec and container for them movies? example-container meaning mp4, avi and codec meaning xvid/divx, h.264. just curious.

I love FXG's rips because they play great on my Creative Zen (no re-encoding necessary-like for the Ipod). There are others out there but I sometimes find that their files will only play on my computer and not my player. That's just a pain. My only question is: Does he take requests?

Hi all.....i have been downloading and converting for a year or so ( although at 2kb/s it takes me 3-4 per movie).....i am making my first attempt and not only adding but editing a .srt file My problem is i have butchered the .srt file, and want to get a new copy - can i just download only the fxg .srt??.......as its so small could someone email it to me?? i dont want to have to download the entire file just for the .srt (4 days is to long to wait again)

clabrim, I use uTorrent and yes you can just download the srt file. Darkknight123, only the beginning of the film is in German as someone mentioned earlier.As I didn't want English subs on the whole film, I opened the srt file with notepad and deleted all except the first five lines and then used a program called AVIAddXSubs which allowed be to put the subs on the film without having to convert it from its original format. The program is free and very easy to use, takes about 3 minutes. Make sure if you use it that you give both the avi and the srt the same name, and have them in the same folder.

Hey, I got a question. Maybe it's off the topic, but if anyone can help me, I'll appreciate it. I just dunno where else to ask. Can anyone convert FXG releases into an ipod touch or iphone compatible file without any problems. I tried but the audio always has a 3 minute delay from the graphics. It works fine with other people's releases (like aXXo's). I use videora ipod converter for converting these files. If there's other programs that is working, or anything else i could do to make it work, then pls tell me. That would be a lot of help.

Ok I have a problem with opening this file on a window's 7 machine. It is able to open fine on xp. I do have a DivX codec installed, but it will not work on any player. I am able to open other .avi files just fine so far only the ones from FXG are being unable to open.

First aXXO Then KLAXXON Now FXG Where are all these guys gone??? and BTW aXXo and FXG upload movies BEFORE THEY ARE RELEASED ON DVD. Anyone can make a 700mb files from a DVD... all you need is 2 free programs and to rent or buy the DVD in question. So anyone posting as aXXo who is uploading movies is just a fake since they upload them on or after the DVD release date... it's simple. For example... Gran Torino and The International come out June 9th. I bet the fake aXXo either uploads an existing copy of those OR uploads them on or after the release date (June 8th)
