The Devil Wears Prada, also known as TDWP, is an American Christian Metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio. They are currently signed to Ferret Records. The band derives its name from an anti-materialistic mindset as stated by vocalist Mike Hranica in several interviews upon the subject. The members of the band only read the book with the same title after choosing their band name.



Biography



In 2005, the band released a demo entitled Patterns of a Horizon. Their first full-length album was released on August 22, 2006, entitled Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord, which featured guest vocals from Cole Wallace of Gwen Stacy.
