why download it from here when there could be a chance that this version could be trojaned before it was uploaded here ? , it still amazes me how naive people are! i only see 2 reasons why this torrent was uploaded here 1. there is a kid that just learned how to make torrents 2. some guy trojaned it to get hacked hosts. its faster and more secure to download if from http://www.ubuntu.com/

The reason it is up here is because on release day you cant get a good speed from the mirrors unless you jump on as soon as its put up. If those of you who are making accusations had half a brain you would know that. Thanks adellle it is appreciated.

Ok, so do I need to uninstall windows for this to work? I've heard something about dividing your hardrive, so you can have both, and just boot this version, not sure what that's about though. If that's true, how do I do that?

@mj0428: You can have a partition(s) on your drive which is kept separate from Windows. You just gotta look around.
