Los Angeles journalist together with his wife moved to the South, where the already bursting at the seams marriage causes a great disaster: the villagers disparage newcomers, provoking violence. The film "Straw Dogs" - is the story of a young couple. After their marriage has cracked, they decide to change the situation for the sake of relationships. Together they move to the south and settle among the people, who as it turned out, accomplish occult rituals. Soon the couple is embroiled in a terrible persecution: the locals are not too happy with arrival of newcomers. The relationship between husband and wife become heated to the limit.
