@gentg Download VLC Media Player. This is an excellent Media Player, good for all file formats! It also incorporates subtitle files (you never know when you might need them) Get it here.. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Choose your O.S. (Windows or Mac) and download and install. Just keep clicking yes and accept and next.. nothing bad will happen. After it's installed go to your "Der Baader Meinhof Komplex" folder and choose to open the movie with VLC Player. The movie should start with the subtitles running underneath. If not... As the movie starts click on the option "Video" in VLC - then click on "Subtitles Track" - and then on "Load File". Choose the "Der Baader Meinhof Komplex.srt" file and voila.. perfect subtitles. I hope! If you have problems please post here. Good luck & enjoy. Gcjm.

VLC: if the name of the .avi and .srt matches, VLC will load the subs. Do not change the type of file (.srt and .avi must not be changed) You can also "drag/drop" the .srt-file on the screen when playing the movie. easy :) ENJOY the movie! Looking forward to a release with norwegian or swedish subs :)

Just a note: the video and audio on this rip is top notch. The subtitles fits perfectly, but is to a degree not perfect translated - but if you don't understand German, then you won't notice I guess

Is there a version of this with hard-coded UK subs? I don't watch films on my PC (because it's got a little screen & I use it only as a PC, not a TV), I copy them to DVD, but I imagine these subs won't burn right? Any ideas/advice? Other than getting a new PC...
