ok got it to install ran paches seems too work but does this version not let you take an avi file and make a dvd out of it becuse if it does i cant find out how i guess ill just go back to nero 7 ultra at least i can burn movies with it

Please ignore my post above. If anyone has the same error message above, you need to delete Nero folder from your Common Files usually C:/Program Files/Common Files/Nero Delete Nero from there. I had reinstalled my xp from scratch but i had chosen the option "to leave file changes intact" that is why alot of files & folders were not deleted. Anyway, now ill try & install this. Having a problem - After I patch the program, the serial and everything works. I chose the standard installation and when it is installing, it only got to about 6% and had an error. So i used the CleanTool and tried again, this time it got to about 80% and had an error. Im downloading the new patch (comment 100) to see if that may help. Anyone know why it won't install fully or im having problems?

My advice is stick with Nero 7. I have never ever had problems with it and I have burned thousands of dvd's, cd's, avi's and wii iso's with it. There is still a version on here with a great keygen.

sparrow, Does your system recognize that you have a dvd rw drive? Try putting a factory dvd into the drive to see if it reads. Sounds like your dvd drive may be failing.. Could be that your dvd laser lens is failing.. Don't wanna jinx you.

@Zergoth I had the same problem this is what I did from beginning to end it now works for me: 1.- Go to Setup folder and run "setupx" (for Vista users "Run as administrator&quot 2.- When installation finishes DO NOT run the application, go to C: drive and check if you "Pragram Files" and "Program Files(x86)" like I do. If you do open "Program Files(x86)" copy the "Nero" folder and paste it into the "Program Files" folder. Then go back to "Program Files(x86) open "Common Files" and copy the "Nero" folder and paste it into "Program Files\Common Files" 3.-Now go to the "Nero 9.0.9.4b Patchfix" folder and run the "nero9patch.exe" then click "Do It" 3.- When it says "DONE!" click "Patch it" and browse to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\AdvrCntr4\" folder and select the AdvrCntr4.dll file and click Open. 4.- When the second button says "DONE!" click "Close". I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and I just followed the instructions to the letter and it works beautifully! Thanks to the uploader. Vista folk that are having trouble with the install; Make sure that you 'Right Click' on the SetupX file and click 'Run As Administrator' to start the install. I done this and it worked perfectly with the Serial Number in place and everything! Thanks Again Mazuki P.S. Once the installation has completed and you have patched it, upon first start-up it asks you to register your product. If you wish you can use your own details in this part!

the serial IS already filled in!!!! XD He[/she] cracked it earlier on so we don't have to juggle serial codes around. this is my second attempt to download a nero 9 version and it works!!! @ vista users : try running as administrator. @ Stealthbomber : I think this happens once a preset number of users register with the same serial. The database detects this and probably prevents anymore users from taking this account. So I guess u better download a newer upload which not many ppl have started dling. T'was i did! Sorry for the looooong comment!!

For everyone having the Serial number issue go here http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ and download Ccleaner and then install and clean your registry with it. Then go here http://www.nero.com/enu/tools-utilities.html click Nero General Clean Tool and run it. Once its done restart your comp and it should work without the serial number problem.

@ dodo999 : well...the reason is DEFINITELY not the amount of seeds! there are like 1000!!! so, i dunno. when this happens..right click on the torrent and try clicking force recheck if it is available. it worked for me once!

if you guys are getting an error after trying to open the nero9patch.exe, then do this, close all program even the nero9patch.exe right click nero9patch.exe ->Properties -> select Compatibility tab -> select (Run this program in compatibility mode for.)and from the dropdown menu choose windows xp (service Pack2) if you have, it worked for me...

Comment part 1 Well downloaded in 12 mins amazingly fast at 500mb/s Then done an Avast (4.8) antivirus check (finds **** the Norton misses) all 17,000 files PASSED Then took 75 minutes to install!!!! Why Well taking a looking in the nero folder there is about a GIG of stuff in there, nero drive speed, neroinfo tool, nero player, all sorts of audio editors, nero Ill make you a cup of coffee. Etc etc my office 2007 was a smaller file!! Maybe on set up it might be worth installing just what you need!! (I installed normal setting , and did NOT install all) I think that I might be removing a few “features” at some point.. (there IS a feature to do this) This is one heck of a package from Nero and I must say runs slowly from time to time. This is a “feature” of the program NOT of the patch. Looking on Google a few other people have found it a little slow BUT This download IS worth it

works perfect...thanks to the up loader.. For does that are using Vista, just Run both the .exe and the patch as Administrator. It should work by doing that. I have Vista 64 bits and works better than Roxio Creator that crashes most of the time in 64 bits.

i cannot read whats written on the mazuki patcher screen buttons but i guess 1st button is "do it", 2nd one is "patch it" and 3rd one "close it" (from left to right) am i right? btw, as anyone else experienced this problem? i think i've managed to correctly install it though thanks to the uploader

Wow,thanks a whole bunch!! I was having the same problem as "Stealthbomber" and reading his comments really helped fix it! Thanks again to Mazuki,Stealthbomber,and co. You guys are brilliant! People who say that this doesn't work are obviously not reading and are doing something WRONG. Good tip when you DL something: Always read the comments if you are experiencing an error with a seemingly good/popular torrent. Most of the time you'll find the solution.

Okay... I so hope someone can help me get my system back to somewhat normal. check it out.. i installed nero..it's all gruvvy.. no probs.. thumbs up yo' but, I have one buggy problem with XVID.. I have no clue where it is..or why or what's the deal.. I go to my documents then my downloads. then I open up a file that has (exampe) let's say tremors xvid.avi then a window pops up saying windows explorer has to shut down blah blah ****... I do the error reporting and everything closes all my stuff blanks out..then comes back... except my documents window has closed.. I have followed the link from error reporting and it says there is a problem with xvid..and directs me with alink..which i get no help..please help...someone.. tmblues@yahoo.com

I installed as per instructions on Windows XP. I even got rid of all Ahead/Nero files, folders, and registry entries first. Two things: 1. It did not seem to include all the features like BackitUp and InCD and....??? 2. It still detected that I was attempting to run unlicensed and would then crash. It may have been my fault for also obtaining update files from Nero and updating it. Maybe then I needed to run the Patch again before opening Nero. I didn't. Is that the problem? Learn from my mistake if so. Anyway, thanks for the effort -- it seems to work for many. I'm not sure I'll try again. 1gb for what Nero does is too much. I just won't use enough of it's functions.

Hi, I followed your instructions and did everything you said. Now I am going to ask you a stupid question: How do I know if Nero has been installed? (there's no icon or shortcut on the desktop) Installation: 1.- Go to Setup folder and run "setupx" (for Vista users "Run as administrator&quot 2.- When installation finishes DO NOT run the application, just go to "Nero 9.0.9.4b Patchfix" folder and run the "nero9patch.exe" then click "Do It" 3.- When it says "DONE!" click "Patch it" and browse to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\AdvrCntr4\" folder and select the AdvrCntr4.dll file and click Open. 4.- When the second button says "DONE!" click "Close".

This is perfect! Works like a breeze! I can’t believe that everything is OK, I get used to have trouble with Nero…7, 8, Mazuki is a genius! And thanks to whatmax! It was a clean install, no previous Nero files in the registry, WinXP SP3, .NET Framework 3,5 SP1 installed already, installation took about 10-15 minutes. I just followed instructions from the .txt file within! Great, thanks Mazuki, thanks seeders! And thanks to the guys that made this application, Nero 9 is a bliss, I promise I am going to buy this product, just as soon as I buy new machine, this one is old and I’m planning to buy new one for Win 7. I would like to have more templates for Nero Vision though! I only have two! :-((

Hello! I've succesfully downloaded this torrent but upon installation my computer suddenly shuts down, I followed the direction and clicked "setupx" but everytime the installation started, at around 4 percent, my pc suddenly shuts down. Well there was a time before when I managed to download and keygen this program and live happily ever after. But for some reason after I had completed maintenance including a reformat of the HD, I am unable to install Nero9. I followed instructions and clicked “DO IT” but got an error instead. I’m not sure what went wrong but thanks anyway for when it worked before. I also completed the Nero Removing Tool before installation and because I have Vista OS I ran the installation in Administrator. I will go back to 7 for now until I can figure this one out. NO VIRUS........NO TROJANS.......EXCELLENT!!!! Thanks to whatmax for an excellent upload. I installed on Vista, all vista users remember even if you are logged on, or your profile is set as administrator you must still right click the exe AND patch and pick the option as run as administrator. It will not install correctly otherwise. QUESTION TO WHATMAX... I installed half asleep and just took the default standard installation, and I re-install to gat the full installation or can I ammend my current installation and add the missing components?
