Thanks for sharing your opinion, but I for one, very much like SecretMyth's DVDRips as well as SecretMyth's BluRay rips. SM's DVDRips by far blow away any comparable sized AVI file uploader, especially that one mentioned in the moniker of the commenter before me. It would take at least a 1gb DivX/XviD AVI to compare to a 700mb H.264 MP4. I don't even waste my time with yesteryear's file formats anymore if I can possibly help it. SecretMyth's been ahead of the curve for quite some time now.

u know what, SM's rips are the best.. we cant compare axxo's to these rips.. i've seen hundreds rippers and SM is the only one who have the best quality and size in all these rips.. except for the 5.1 sound, which i see that keltz might be better in this, but when i compare the video quality of course sm's better and smaller in size! for the video only!, and i think, i would suggest sm to use ac3 5.1 sounds, bcz when i compare the ac3 5.1 to sm's 2 channel sounds, there's only small of megabytes differences in size. then on that time, i guess sm's gonna be unbeatable..

neso1987, I asked a friend the same thing a while back, and his reply was a little too Doom9 for me to completely understand: "The quality factor (Qf) is the number of bits for each pixel Qf = 1000*b / v*h*f Where b is the video bit rate (kbit/s), v is the vertical resolution, h is the horizontal resolution, and f is the frame rate (fps)." So for this video it would be 742,000 / (704*304*23.976) = .144 What does that really mean? Basically, I believe it's a sort of compression factor. The higher the QF the less compression (bigger file size) the lower is more compressed (smaller file size). A higher bitrate and/or smaller resolution will give a larger QF.
