I've tried hosting a LAN game using the HLDS file. It works fine and my friends are able to see the lan game, but I can't see it. I can't think of anything I'm doing wrong, but its odd that I host a server but can't even join it lol. Secondly, a friend is having a problem joining/creating games. He does have the server patch. Once he clicks 'create game' and the loading is done, nothing happens. He's unable to play.

nvm i eventually realized that i was able to connect to the game using the connect command and the ip of the server. however, when I host a game using HLDS, both my friends and myself are unable to join it because we get an error. any way to get around this error?

k so every problem that both ive had and friends have had thus far ive fixed lol :/ newest problem: half life launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close yet another friend has encountered a problem, but this time is when he actually tries to load up cs. his comp is fine, specs are able to support cs. hes installed and also re downloaded the torrent twice now, but on loading cs, he gets that error and it closes cs. any info about this problem?

It works great.. There is only one proble.. Protocol 48.. it says i have protocol 47.. i thought this cs was protocol 47 & 48.. any ideas ?

Hey man, i tried to start a new game with bots offline (the only reason i dl'd this) and when it load the level it freezes on the info screen b4 u play sayn "you are playn counter strike blah blah blah... but when i change the number of players from say, 16 to 1, so its just me, the game works?! so whats the go? can you play against bots of not? and if so how do you do it, in detail. cheers ps, im not gonna reinstall my op for this

when i play with bot, menu re-buy previous does not work, when i create server with this cs and my friend access with old version cs (v32.1) he get this message "You have been disconected from the server, reason : Bad file server is enforcing file consistensy for models/p_elite.mdl" can i fix it?
