Many thanks to Dadytzu for his great contribution. I have installed the program. However I can't run it. I've got Windows Vista 64 Ultimate. This what is happening: When I insert a DVD movie a message comes out saying: "Power DVD 9.0 has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify yo if a solution is available" Then the program shuts down and 'finito' I have tried to run the latest 'patch' from Cyberlink.com. - No change Any help would greatly appreciated!!!!!

Use revo unistaller to delete totally deluxe version, or run regcure or if doesn t work oper RUN command from start menu, type regedit and press enter Navigate in HKEY_Local_Machine, Software, and delete any Cyberlink key !! Goodluck

Forgive the off topic discussion, but if you're looking to play .mkv (Matroska) files get Haali Media Splitter (http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/MatroskaSplitter.exe). Keep in mind that Matroska isn't a codec, it's a container similar to avi. The link above will allow you to play these files in all of your favorite media players. As for codecs, I suggest getting the latest ffdshow tryout (beta). It's basically a universal codec. The K-Lite codec pack is far from lite. It will load ffdshow along with a large amount of other codecs that ffdshow can already handle by itself. VLC player is an option but if you look, it just uses the same universal codec ffdshow uses.
