I loved and hated this series. Its depressing and then at the end it switches to a happy ending. Emotional rollercoaster. Overall 10/10 on this anime.

P.S Good Series hey Junpei86!! what anime would you recommend, judging from all your uploads that i am thankful for, you've probably watched loads more anime than me. btw what size is your hard drive? like 5 TeraBytes?

i didn't really understand what happened but i was thankful for the twist. at last, a happy ending for clannad! i can't wait for that extra episode. after that, i wish there'll be an oav. ^^ just can't get enough of this anime.

i don't get it! did he kill himself, and the happy ending is in heaven or wtv, or was it all a dream from when the time nagisa was giving birth, and what the hell was the deal with fuuko meeting grownup ushio and then her swatiching back to baby ushio?!?!? I AM SO CONFUSED!!!

To brian240188: The events that happened after Nagisa died did happen, but life played a "Rewind" on him and brought him back to the point right before Nagisa died, except this time she didn't die and neither did Ushio, thanks to the events that happened in the other world. So Tomoya, Nagisa, and Ushio lived out the rest of their lives happily together. And ***o didn't see "Adult" Ushio, that was just the producers way of saying "Hey, remember that this girl is also Ushio? They're the same person." basically. She really only saw child Ushio.

The series is based all on a Visual Novel PC Game; focusing only on Nagisa's story. In order to run it in 22 episodes + 22 of after story they ran the other world at the same time; technically if they stuck to the Visual novel exactly, it would of taken approximately 200 episodes involving all the Main girl characters including Ryou & Miyazawa (yes ***o too!!!) then after story; then back to the 1st season collecting the orbs of light then finally the after story happy ending. If you are still confused, try playing the game which is on this website.

Well i got round to watching it, and dispite alot of confusion(thanks to Daramue your comment cleared alot of that up) im fairly satisfied with it. The whole Fu-chan bit at the end kind of threw me, but was good to see her so much near the end, and that she was still as unique as ever. Was glad a few things went differently to the movie, he didnt live in depression for as long as i expected him too(his dad didnt give him a speach to snap him out of it, was shocked that wasnt there) and obviously the final ending of it. Felt like they killed my heart for a second time when Ushio became ill. More so since the pleseant happy times from the first season came back. Im happy with it overall, and glad i waited til now to catch up. Thanks for uploads.
