LOL at halfenundred! What s supreme prat. He misses the point completely. If you download from the BBC site it is drm protected and you can only keep the file for 30 days. With the software which sheila has kindly shared with us you can keep it forever. Also show a little respect you prat. Sheila is one of the top uploaders on this site. I notice that you have uploaded absolutely nothing. You probably don't even seed. I wish people like you were banned from this site forever!!

I'm not sure what halfenundred is going on about as I have now downloaded a file from BBC iplayer with this software and have been able to burn straight to dvd and watch it on my television. I have never been able to do this with iplayer files that I have downloaded in the past with the downloader provided by the BBC, probably because is is drm protected. This software provided by sheila would appear to download the video without drm attached to it. It is also a .mov file as opposed to the normal wmv files and as such the size of the file is smaller - another major benefit. Thanks sheila. This is one of the best things I have downloaded for a long time. Will seed for a month like everything that I download.

This is good stuff. It really works too! Why on earth the BBC don't let you keep their iplayer files indefinitely is beyond me. After all you could video the programmes and keep that forever. Anyway uploader thanks for this share and I will seed for at least a month per everything I download!

I live outside of the UK and can connect to iplayer using UK proxy servers, but will this still work for me?
