if having problem with burning using the new version as some others have had one person said this helped Uninstalling a VSO Software product from the Control Panel 'add/remove programs' or from selecting uninstall next from the start menu will not erase the entries in your computers registry. To completely uninstall one or more VSO Software programs use this tool: http://download2.vso-software.fr/CleanVSO.exe and then do a fresh install hope this helps

Hello guys/uploader! I really enjoy this program: its great and i converted so many dvd now,adding images and music too. But now I've to report a problem: suddendly the program can't burn any dvd! This is very weird because when i run the progam, in the lower part, when the dvd-r is inserted the program says NEW MEDIA (DVD-R) INSERTED.BURNING LAYER IS READY TO WRITE, but after a while it pop-up a window saying WRONG DISC.USE ONE OF THESE: DOUBLE LAYER (DVD+R),DOUBLE LAYER (DVD-R) ?_? It is not a problem of my laptop because I've no problem in using other programs like windows dvd maker...but i like convertx. I also re-installed the program various time, but nothing happen.. So, I will be very glad if someone can help me! thanks a lot!

Thank you for sharing this. I am extremely new to this whole torrent thing, but love to learn. I have downloaded this program hoping that I can put some of the torrents I have downloaded from Secret Myth onto a DVD, but when I tried to use this program it is asking for a key code. I am not sure if I have missed something, but I don't have a key code. Is there another way that I can burn the movies from Secret Myth to a DVD? I have tried my Nero but it doesn't work. Any help for this newbie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Shy

Guys, you're talking to the uploader as if he's a customer support rep. I mean, maybe he wants to fill that role, but if you're having problems with the program maybe you should contact VSO. And if you can't figure out what to do with a setup.exe file and a keygen then maybe torrents aren't for you.

Exactly how long does VSO ConvertXtoDVD take to burn a movie? Am useing NERO right now and it takes about an hour or less to burn per movie. Will my burning be quicker useing this program or will it take just as long as NREO did

@comp-tech: convertX it takes about like Nero to burn, but i think you will enjoy more to use this program than nero,because of its options and customization possibilities
