I installed this like 2 wks ago and for the 1st time today I received this pop up that says "Your copy of AVG is using an illegal license key and in a short time will no longer receive daily updates. Purchase a licensed copy of AVG today to remain protected" what should I do?

I just installed this this morning. Everything is working fine, updates and all. I did receive an error when I pressed the update now, stating "access forbidden". I assumed this was a busted key, but I went into the event log through the top-bar menu, and cleared it out. I repeated the update now process and everything went through. One thing to note though, is that when you do update, regardless of if you have program updates unchecked and only using the backup server, when you restart as requested you are forced into 8.5. Still, as of 2 hours after updating, I've updated again, scanned, and all features are still functioning.

Allright blaze back for another great download. ??? B4 i do i have a ??? I had a trial for Norton Security but in this pacage i had Three applications Norton 360, Norton Anti Virus & Norton Internet Sceurity, I liked the way they worked as when i extracted any downloads a simple right click on the file would give me the option to scan. Will this AVG give me total protection and will it give me the option to scan downloads. Is this the best security or am i better downloading another. Also i have this SpyWare doctor it was already on my computer, every time i run a scan it picks up hundreds of infections and a couple of Trojans, but it wont allow me to dump (delete) these infections without buying an upgrade, hope you can help with these problems blaze69, or any1 else who reads this.

Guy's i need help, My computer is a ****ing siiting duck, uninstalled all Norton applications. ??(in the remove programs in control pannel do you remove norton update aswell)??. Right i have this software spy doctor it was on my computer from the start , now it runs scans every day and picks up hundreds of infections and a couple of trojans, but it wont let me delete them untill i purchase the full version. Now i downloaded this "AVG" and it found no threats, infections, nothing. WHY?.

@75+76(collision934) At some point it pretty much forced me to go to 8.5(I believe it was the first day of this month). Everything is still peachy. As for if it's a better program than bitdefender, all I can say is that while AVG is relatively easy to install/update/and use with the stock options and configurations, the firewall is extremely annoying to setup properly for certain applications such as Windows Media Extender and certain games. Still, if you're willing to spend a little time searching the proper settings, this program is definitely top notch. @78(darkneji): Do a google search for "AVG removal tool". I hope you can figure out the next steps. Also, if you do not follow the directions specifically laid out, of course it will not work. Big props to Blaze, his torrents are always legit and virus/trojan free. And to all people who post they found a virus and the file listed is a keygen, please stand in traffic @ your earliest opportunity. Thx.

Hi Blaze I have done everything you said and it works fine till i go to update and it says "Failed" ive restarted the computer and it still does the same thing?! hi blaze, I realize this is a very clean program. Hell, i used it myself(and still will)for the past 2 months. I did have thier problem yestereday tho. During my auto upd. a ie tab opened. "you may not be aware but you are using a pirated copy of avg. your updates will no longer be availabe, contact us, etc.... Not detered however we are most likely popped. No difference just uninstall and reinstall w/ new code, or same. Or, look into other torrents for a new serial. Blaze gave you the program and it is verified good. Do you need him to push as well as video tape?

I downloaded this torrent months ago and it worked great for about 2 or 3 months. The other day I turned my computer on and it wouldn't update. When I tried to reactivate AVG with the same serial that expires in 2018 it told me that it was an expired serial number.

The problem now is AVG is catching up on every single keygen, serial you name it, and non of these torrents will ever work again. I have tried 107 different keys and they will not work, and even the method of turning updates off doesnt work anymore. AVG have got their act together and they're fighting piracy pretty damn well i must admit :/

If updates failed using the Back UP SERVER don't be foolish to try anything s.tupid Just wait for a while because the problem might be coming from the the SERVER itself and on your side. It occurs frequently especially if AVG is updating on the exact time you are requesting for UPDATES. This torrent has been download more than 19000 times. It's Clean and Free as of this date.
