This game is already playable. There's a post where it explains everything. Go to http://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=51568 the forum is in english, the tutorial is in page 4 of the thread and all the files and links you need are on the first pages of the same thread. And you don't need to be registered on the forum to download. I'm playing it right now xD

Copied from the forum and untested since I haven't downloaded it!: The following is by someone called "warrior5729." Howto: Required tools: -Revolution loader v2 (from the post here on cs.rin.ru) -SimPack from LordSte's post earlier in this thread SimPack_FEAR2.rar (and SimPack2 from it's original post here if you don't want errors although it's not really needed) -Latest Steam install (For the steamclient.dll) -FEAR2 NRG files from torrent (or disc images that include the SIM/SID files) -7zip (to extract the NRG files) 1) Extract the disc images with 7zip (Right click the file, go to 7zip, go to extract here...or whereever you want)

2) Put the first disc contents in a folder. You will see the following files. Rename them as such: PROJECT_.SIM -> ProjectOrigin_disk1.sim PROJECT_.SID -> ProjectOrigin_disk1_0.SID PROJECT2.SID -> ProjectOrigin_disk1_1.SID PROJECT3.SID -> ProjectOrigin_disk1_2.SID etc etc (Do the same with Project4,5,6, however many you have) Do the same for Disk2, but obviously use -> ProjectOrigin_disk2* Put the files from Disk2 in the folder from Disk1. There will be one file overlap, that's fine just hit no or yes or whatever.

4) Go into C:\fear2 (or wherever you unpacked it) and copy the Revolution loader files there. Create a steam_appid.txt in that directory with the number 16450 in it. Its true.. Ive been playing the game from the steam version with the batch file extractor. darthchaos .. I too ran into the same problem. I found a crack only from thepiratebay.org After I extracted with the batch I just replaced the .exe from the crack I downloaded from piratebay and it works... If any of you need real instructions on getting this too work just reply... I basically mounted the images, and copied all contents to a folder. Then extracted them to my new game folder. Then copied over the fixed .exe and I've been playing all evening.
