I use a firewall to block access to the internet for this program. I also change settings to not check for updates, and not report errors to dvdfab. You may try the same. Mine never stops working.

I am having a problem, i have tried it on two computers and both having the same problem. Both computers are running 64 bit Vista Ultimate. The program installs just fine and opens up without a problem and rips DVDs with no issue. But when i go to burn them the program immediately becomes non responsive and crashed. Has anyone else run into this problem what should i do?

Sorry spoke too soon, it turned out that the VOM procress wouldnt work for some reason i used my nero ROM and it worked fine, thanks for the upload

I use that version since one month and today only, after an update of the virus base I suppose, Avira reports me there is a trojan. I suppose it is a false positive but Avira don't let me to ignore for ever. It keeps poping up window, even when I do not use DVDFab and am not in its directory structure. Quite annoying. Maybe a reboot will help.

I was the person originally reported the virus. Here is what I found. I reinstall the software using the torrent and found no virus. My apology to Planet Master. It turns out you have to turn your internet access off when U install the software. Otherwise the software will go on the net to check for update and got infected by the update. I checked there is no virus if the internet is turn off. go to option and turn off auto update checking etc.

Well I'm running Windows XP, downloaded this torrent, scanned with AVG, no Virus's or Trojans found and ripped Journey to the bottom of the earth. Used DVD Shrink, then Nero Express to burn. Awesome. No crashes, bangs or jingles noted. The Movie played great on my DVD player too. Thanks a million downloader.

Curious as to why some movies have sub-titles and some do not. I can not get rid of the sub-titles on the movies that do have them. I have tried everything - but the correct thing - I guess. Can anyone help??

Great upload, Ghosthunter releases rock ... to shed some light on some of the issues some users are having with it not burning ... here's what i did as I had the same issue, download and install the trial from the DVDFab site http://www.dvdfab.com/dvd-fab-platinum.htm which will install the pcouffin or VSO drivers, then install Ghosthunter release overtop and it should work fine ... at least it did for me ... Hope that helps!

Has anyone had problems writing the movies Saw V and Max Payne? The program will and read and write the disc perfectly even telling you it finished successfully but when you go to play it in your dvd player it wont play. I tried using different brand discs and dvd players still have the same issue. I even tried instaling dvdfab on another computer and burned the disc and still have a problem. Wonder if there is a some new copyright protection out.

Have scanned with kaspersky internet security 2009 and avg and malwarebyres. All came up clean. I think avira is dectecting a false positive in this program. I do agree that it does not run very stable. Have had crashes and movies saying it completed successfully but wouldnt play.

I am watching the dvd I copied. I had to use nero. Fab will not write it. I think It accessed the internet. But like I said the problem is just in Fab. If anyone knows where I can find the information in my first post please let me know. My first system I installed it on works great. So I must have messed it up on the system I just installed it on. Works brilliant when im ripping a normal dvd but i have loads of rips that are 2 -3 gb so im trying to rip them down to about 700mg but it just shuts down every time i put a dvdrip in drive any suggest as my dvdfab 3 work fine
